Karen A. Foote, Johnson City TN, creates works in watercolor. Her realistic works reflect the beauty and color in the world around us. Her goals are to continually challenge her skills and abilities through ever changing subjects. Through ongoing education, she continues beyond her original studies at Indiana University (B.S.), The Art Institute of Chicago and The University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne IN (M.A.). Karen has been awarded “Best in Show” at the Newell Hendershot Watermedia Exhibition 2009, and several other awards in the past few years. She is a member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society, The Arts Depot (Abingdon, VA), and the Watauga Valley Art League. Her works are in private collections in the United States, England, China, Australia, and Singapore.
